Anniversary Celebration – 25 Years of MFPA Leipzig GmbH

Three Reasons to Celebrate at the InnovationsPark • Construction Technology • Leipzig/Saxony

On June 5, 2026, we at MFPA Leipzig GmbH celebrated our 25th anniversary together with our partner, IFBT GmbH. At the same time, we marked the 5th anniversary of the dedication of the InnovationsPark • Construction Technology • Leipzig/Saxony and the grand opening of the new IFBT GmbH institute building.

Since the 1950s, innovative testing and research on building materials, components, and construction methods have been conducted at the Leipzig-Engelsdorf site. With the development of the InnovationsPark into a modern research and innovation hub, as well as the close collaboration with HTWK Leipzig—Leipzig University of Applied Sciences as a partner, ideal conditions are being created here to rapidly translate research findings into practical applications and marketable products.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the official opening of the new IFBT institute building, attended by numerous guests from the worlds of science, business, and politics, including Leipzig’s Mayor for Economic Affairs, Clemens Schülke (Department of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Digital Affairs, City of Leipzig), as well as Saxony’s Minister of State for Science, Sebastian Gemkow (Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture, and Tourism) and Dirk Panter (Saxon State Ministry of Economy, Labor, Energy, and Climate Protection).
