Education partners
We are dedicated to cooperation with research facilities for transferring the research results of universities and higher education institutes into innovations for the construction industry. As visiting lecturers, we give lectures and seminars at higher education institutes.
We cooperate with the vocational academy Berufsakademie Sachsen in Glauchau and are a training company associated with the Leipzig Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Something we are particularly proud of are our cooperation agreements with Leipzig University and the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HWTK).
HTWK Leipzig
HTWK Leipzig with its large number of students is among Saxony’s most important higher education institutions. MFPA Leipzig GmbH and HTWK Leipzig are very successful in bringing together science and construction practice.

Leipzig University is among Germany’s strongest research-oriented universities. For several decades, we have been maintaining partnership-based exchange regarding a wide range of research and teaching topics.

At its branch in Glauchau, students of the vocational state academy Berufsakademie Sachsen are trained in the areas of technology and business. MFPA Leipzig GmbH acts as an education partner and supports students who are enrolled in dual education programmes.
International University of Applied Sciences
IU International University is a state-recognized private university of applied sciences with 28 locations in Germany. It offers English-language face-to-face study programs, German-language dual study programs, as well as distance learning programs and combined models in German and English.

Our experience from experimental testing is particularly valuable for assessing materials, building products, components and methods, as well as for applying standards and guidelines. We are happy to contribute this expertise to committees of experts, consulting committees and standardisation work. Please find below a selection of the institutions we are involved with.
Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt)
The German Structural Engineering Institute (DIBt) is a technical authority in the area of construction. The Institute performs its work based on an agreement between the federal government and the federal states. Its most important duty is to approve non-regulated building products and methods.
Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN)
Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. is the most important national standardisation organisation of the Federal Republic of Germany. It provides a forum for manufacturers, retailers, industry, science, consumers, testing bodies and authorities to draw up standards using the consensus method.
Verband der Materialprüfungsanstalten (VMPA)
The association of material testing bodies “Verband der Materialprüfungsanstalten e. V.” (VMPA) was established in 1948 as a professional association. Since 1997, the VMPA e.V. has been keeping a directory of competent testing bodies for concrete and noise abatement.
European Committee for Standardization (CEN)
The European Committee for Standardization is a non-profit organisation to support the European economy in global trading and to promote environmental protection. CEN is one of Europe’s three biggest standardisation organisations.
Deutscher Ausschuss für Stahlbeton (DAfStb)
Deutscher Ausschuss für Stahlbeton e.V. is an expert committee that is dedicated to promoting reinforced concrete construction. The DAfStb issues a series of publications that contain additional guidelines for concrete construction and that reflect the state of the art.

This cooperation has enabled us to draw up a service range that includes research and development, testing, assessment and approval support in Germany and Europe, as well as building planning application and software-based application programming.
IFBT GmbH
The institute for façade and fastening technology offers testing, monitoring and consulting services in the areas of rainscreens, thermal insulation systems and fastening technology. Solutions for complex tasks are developed in cooperation with MFPA Leipzig GmbH, the S&P Group and HTWK Leipzig.
S&P Gruppe
The S&P Group comprises 9 companies from Leipzig, Potsdam, Dresden and Zwickau and operates as a general planner to offer solutions in the areas of architecture, structure planning, building technology, as well as advisory and consulting services, software development and IT services.
