Purpose of data processing

The purpose of data processing is to initiate employment relationships according to article 88, section 1 and article 6, section 1 b) EU GDPR, as well as section 26 of the German Data Protection Act BDSG. No data is disclosed to any other companies.

Recipient categories

Applicant data is not passed on to any third parties. As we use service providers for our information technology, who are separately bound to secrecy and data protection, access to personal data cannot be ruled out in this context: IT service providers, data destruction service providers, security service providers, cleaning services and consultancy companies (e.g. tax advice, data protection advice). Data is only passed on to authorities if overriding legal provisions apply. No data is passed on in any third states.

Duration of storage and erasure of data

Your data is stored for the duration of the application process; after a decision has been made regarding your application, or the position has been filled, the data will be saved for 3 months; in the case of unsolicited applications or based on your approval that we may store your data for longer for possible future employment, your data may be stored for up to two years.

Your right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and data portability

You can exercise your right of access, rectification and erasure of data at any time. Just contact us as outlined above. If you would like for your data to be erased, while we are still legally bound to retain it, access to your data will be restricted (blocked). The same rule applies in case of an objection. You can exercise your right of data portability, provided that this is technically possible for us and the recipient.

Right to file a complaint

You may submit a complaint to a data protection authority at any time.

Obligation to provide data

The application process cannot be handled without your correct details. We may not be able to consider your application as part of an ongoing process, if you fail to provide such data.

Up-to-dateness of and changes to this data protection statement

We reserve the right to adjust the content of this data protection statement at any time. This is usually the case when the services used are adjusted or developed further. You can view the latest version of the data protection statement on our website.
