Fire protection design of components and special constructions

We can determine the load-bearing capability of load-bearing structures in the event of fire using temperature field analyses carried out in advance or simultaneously, taking account of temperature-dependent stiffness and strength characteristics of the materials. Examples include reinforced steel constructions such as supports, walls and ceiling structures, as well as shell structures, tunnels and bridges (tunnel fires, fires beneath bridges, fires on bridges). The FE models used are validated in accordance with the national application documents relating to DIN EN 1991-1-2, Appendix cc, and are suitable for the verification of structural fire protection.
