General non-linear structural calculations
The finite element method is a calculation procedure that is used throughout the entire field of engineering for the numerical simulation of the behaviour of solid bodies such as building structures, vehicles or tools.
MFPA Leipzig GmbH is able to carry out these kinds of calculations and make assessments of both materials and structures. As every model is only as good as the mathematical relationships describing the model, MFPA Leipzig GmbH offers a special service whereby we not only test the material properties, but also evaluate these tests in respect of a consistent three-dimensional description in order to develop and program a material model on that basis. This model is then used for the finite element calculation (constitutive modelling).
