Round robin tests for noise protection testing bodies at MFPA Leipzig GmbH

The German Association of Materials Testing Institutions (VMPA) has been successfully organising comparative tests for noise protection testing bodies for years, and since 2013 these have had a new format as a two-day measuring campaign with five testing bodies measuring in parallel. The tests are mandatory for VMPA-recognised noise protection testing bodies.

Since 2016, the comparative measurements for impact noise, airborne noise and installation noise have been conducted on the premises with technical support from MFPA Leipzig GmbH. The specialist evaluation is carried out in collaboration with the National Metrology Institute of Germany (PTB) and the German Acoustical Society (DEGA).
